Martin's Cove...

A little stop on our drive home...


On our way home, we went a different way than we usually do. We headed up toward Casper WY. Along the way we passed this site by chance. Mike saw the historic sign and thought it was worth a quick visit. We watched a short video about the pioneers trek, and some of the struggles they faced.
We got there and had only a few minutes before they were closing for the day. I would have liked to have gone through some of the buildings... oh well... After the visitor's center walk through and video, my girls were each given a little necklace with handcart stamped on it.


I thought these names were interesting... my maiden name is Reece... it looks like I've got some research to do!!!
