Today was baby blessing #2 for us. We were able to watch Mike's brother Mark head the circle, and bless his son, their first baby, Ethan Ellis Arnold.
He had a HUGE amount of support from Family and friends.
Since it was the first Sunday of the month, it was also Fast and Testimony meeting. This was also the first time in a LONG time my husband's family was together... all the siblings and their spouses with the kids. The testimonies that filled the meeting were mostly from his family. Such a wonderful treat for the grand-kids to hear the testimonies of so many family members. Such a wonderful spirit was felt.
Mike and I elected to stay for all the meetings. The kids (all but Ema) went with Grandma and Grandpa Arnold to celebrate with Ethan. Mike and I enjoyed Sunday School and our meetings (relief society and priesthood). We also realized just how much we appreciate our own leaders and teachers in our own ward. It's nice to know that the Gospel being taught in those classes is the same all around the world.
Ema loved being in her class too! She had to tell us all about her picture she had colored. :D
By the time we got to the luncheon, the food was mostly gone... which we expected. Mom and Dad Arnold, with the help of the girls were able to save us each a plate of food... Thanks :) it was ALL good stuff!
