We left Nauvoo and headed toward Carthage.
We got there just after a group had started their tour. So we waited for the next group to start. We saw a little video in the Visitor's Center and then walked through the jail.
It was nice to pause and reflect on the life of Joseph Smith. What he lived for, and what he died for.
I hope my children felt the Spirit there, and planted their own testimony seeds.
We left Carthage and headed home. We pulled up in our driveway at 6:30 am, and got ourselves showered and ready for 9:00 church. We made it... It was SO nice to be back in our ward again.
